This Privacy Policy describes how and when Super Trooper collect, use and share information when you purchase an item from Super Trooper or contact Super Trooper. At Super Trooper, we are 100% committed to protecting your privacy and security and will process personal information in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation, the Data Protection Act 2018 and any other applicable privacy laws. To fulfil your order, you must provide Super Trooper with certain information, such as your name, email address, postal address, payment information, and the details of the product that you’re ordering. You may also choose to provide Super Trooper with additional personal information (for a custom order of hat, for example), if you contact Super Trooper directly. We rely on a number of legal bases to collect, use, and share your information, including: As needed to provide our services, such as when we use your information to fulfil your order, to settle disputes, or to provide customer support; When you have provided your affirmative consent, which you may revoke at any time, such as by signing up for my mailing list; If necessary to comply with a legal obligation or court order or in connection with a legal claim, such as retaining information about your purchases if required by tax law; and As necessary for the purpose of my legitimate interests, if those legitimate interests are not overridden by your rights or interests, such as providing and improving our services. We use your information to provide the services you requested and in our legitimate interest to improve our services. Information Sharing and Disclosure: ​​Information about our customers is important to our business. We share your personal information for very limited reasons and in limited circumstances, as follows: Service providers. We engage certain trusted third parties to perform functions and provide services to my shop, such as delivery companies. We will share your personal information with these third parties, but only to the extent necessary to perform these services. Business transfers. If we sell or merge the business, we may disclose your information as part of that transaction, only to the extent permitted by law. Compliance with laws. We retain your personal information only for as long as necessary to provide you with our services and as described in our Privacy Policy. However, we may also be required to retain this information to comply with our legal and regulatory obligations, to resolve disputes, and to enforce our agreements. We generally keep your data for the following time period: 4 years. Transfers of Personal Information Outside the EU: We may store and process your information through third-party hosting services in the UK and other jurisdictions. As a result, we may transfer your personal information to a jurisdiction with different data protection and government surveillance laws than your jurisdiction. If we are deemed to transfer information about you outside of the EU, we rely on Privacy Shield as the legal basis for the transfer, as Google Cloud is Privacy Shield certified. Your Rights: If you reside in certain territories, including the EU, you have a number of rights in relation to your personal information. You may have the right to access and receive a copy of the personal information we hold about you by contacting Super Trooper using the contact information below. Change, restrict, delete. You may also have rights to change, restrict my use of, or delete your personal information. Absent exceptional circumstances (like where we are required to store data for legal reasons) we will generally delete your personal information upon request. Object. You can object to (i) our processing of some of your information based on our legitimate interests and (ii) receiving marketing messages from Super Trooper after providing your express consent to receive them. In such cases, we will delete your personal information unless we have compelling and legitimate grounds to continue using that information or if it is needed for legal reasons. Complain. If you reside in the EU and wish to raise a concern about our use of your information (and without prejudice to any other rights you may have), you have the right to do so with your local data protection authority.
Terms & Conditions
Making an order
When you are buying a product from us, you will use your card to pay us directly for the product. Once you place an order, you should receive an acknowledgement e-mail confirming receipt of your order. Once the order has been confirmed, you will have 24 hours to cancel, should you change your mind. Simply email us on the contact details below and a refund will be set up for you.
Prices and product descriptions
Each type of product is priced individually. These prices are non-negotiable. We are a small business and making them doesn't come cheap. 'Hats', 'Bespoke Hats', 'Large Headbands' and 'Bespoke Headbands' will require a head measurement. You (the customer) will be solely responsible for this being correct. There will be a prompt for this on each of the product pages. If you have realised that you have measured incorrectly, you must email us within 24 hours. Sale items will have the sizes labelled clearly on each image. Standardised designs ('Hats') may need to be made with materials other than the ones shown, depending on availability. The design will be the same - whichever one you choose. Super Trooper will endeavour to ensure the design is as close to the chosen design as possible. If we experience any issues, we will get in touch with you immediately to discuss options. Any items that want personalising with lettering/wording it is your responsibility to ensure it is spelt correctly with the correct colour choice. If you have made a mistake, please email us within 24 hours of purchase. Please understand that these are handmade items and each one will always look different to the other (if multiple of the same design are bought).
Delivery
Super Trooper offers a choice of delivery options. Standard: 3-5 business days Next day: 1 business day International: 7-12 business days We will work our socks off to try to meet all delivery times but sometimes there may be delays – e.g. because of postal/carrier delays, logistics or bad weather. We will keep you updated as much as we can and you should be able to track your parcel’s progress. A tracking number will be sent to you once your item(s) has been shipped. Super Trooper will not be held liable for any parcels that are lost or stolen as a result of any specific delivery instructions. All items will be sent via Royal Mail.
Returns and refunds
Due to these items being handmade and to order, Super Trooper is unable to accept returns, and therefore refunds, at this stage. Super Trooper will not be held responsible for any incorrect head measurements. Super Trooper ensures that all orders are packed safely to minimise any chance of damage during delivery. Thorough checks are made before any items are boxed up. If you have received your item damaged, please send photographic evidence of this to the email address at the bottom of this page. We will be very happy to look into this for you and sort it as quickly as possible.
Promo codes
Occasionally we may send out discount codes - returning customers, promotions etc. It is your responsibility to add this code at the checkout. Unfortunately we won't be able to add it once the order has been made. The discount codes are one time use. Please don't take advantage of our generosity. If you have a discount code but it's not working, please email us and we will be more than happy to look at this for you.
Complaints?
We will do everything in our power to ensure you won't ever need to even consider complaining. But in the unfortunate event that you do, please do not hesitate to contact us via the email below, through Instagram message or Facebook message. We aim to respond within 24 hours and will be more than happy to discuss any issues with you.
